Coming off a successful season capturing bronze at the OIWFA Championships on home soil, McMaster fastpitch Head Coach Ken Oda and his coaching staff continue to excel on the diamond. Going on just over a decade now with the Marauders, Oda is more than familiar with the Maroon having graduated in years past. But he can tell you all that, and more.
As part of National Coaches Week, we took the chance to ask some of our head coaches a few questions to dive a little deeper into who they are. Here are Ken's answers:
How long have you been coaching at McMaster?
11 years.

My professional career as a chiropractic neurologist.
What is your most memorable coaching moment thus far?
Winning the 2009 OIWFA Championships in my first year of coaching. Kind of like Nick Nurse.

Drink lots of coffee.
If you could max out your credit card at any store, which store would it be?
Tesla.
