GUELPH, ON - The Ontario Intercollegiate Women's Fastpitch Association (OIWFA) Championship is set for McMaster University this weekend.
Being hosted by the McMaster Marauders, the top eight Ontario University softball teams will compete at the Margaret Koropatnicki Softball Complex (100 Greenhill Ave) in Hamilton on October 5-6.

The OIWFA will be streaming all fourteen games over the weekend live on the Association's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/oiwfa .
The streaming will be free of charge, however, the OIWFA does ask viewers to make a small donation to support the operations of the OIWFA which is a self-funded league by the athletes via www.gofundme.com/OIWFA.
How to stay up to date all weekend:
On Friday night at the league banquet, the OIWFA will be awarding league founder Doug Parry with the Outstanding Contribution Award. This award has been designed as the most prestigious honour the league can give; recognizing an individual's outstanding, long-term contributions to the OIWFA and who has advocated for and promoted the OIWFA and sport of women's softball over an extended number of years.
