POSTSEASON CAMPAIGN HEADS TO OTTAWA AS MARAUDERS TAKE ON RAVENS

Heading to the nation's capital for the quarterfinal stage of the Wilson Cup, the McMaster Marauders men's basketball team takes on the top-seeded Carleton Ravens with a semi-final spot on the line.

With tip-off set for 8pm on Saturday, all the action can be streamed live on OUA.tv.

The Marauders extended their postseason off a dominant 83-71 over the Brock Badgers on Wednesday night. The Marauders held the visiting Badgers to just nine points in the second quarter, shooting an impressive 47.8 percent from the floor all game to knock down the ninth-seeded squad.

The top-seeded Ravens received a bye to the quarterfinal round after posting a 21-1 record during the regular season, finishing first in the OUA East division.

The Marauders lead the league in field goal attempts with 73 per game, connecting on 42.6 percent of all shots – a stat that can prove vital to force the pace against the Ravens.

Ranking first in the OUA in three-point percentage, shooting 38.3 from behind the arc, and out rebounding their opponents by a league best 12.7 margin, the Ravens efficiency on both sides of the floor have garnered them the top rank in the nation.

The two teams met recently during the Marauders penultimate regular season game as the squad suffered a loss on the road. The Ravens contained the maroon to just six points in the third quarter, en route to the 108-54 win.

With their playoff hopes on the line, and an impressive first-round win over the Badgers behind them, the Marauders could lay it all on the line and upset the No. 1 nationally ranked Ravens.
