Eclipsing the 100-point mark is no easy feat, but the No. 10 nationally ranked McMaster Marauders men's basketball team did just that, defeating the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks 102-55.
Shooting an efficient 46.7% from the floor over the course of the game, the Marauders held pace throughout scoring no less than 24 points in any of the four quarters.
Despite being outrebounded 54-48, the Marauders were able to force 28 turnovers compared to their 13, leading to 40 points.
At no point in this contest did the visiting Ridgebacks hold the lead, as all five McMaster starters reach double figures led by fifth-year forward Connor Gilmore. Gilmore carried the Maroon with 18 points, and tied his career-high with 17 rebounds.
Kwasi Adu-Poku had himself a night, contributing 16 points, as well as eight rebounds, on 6-of-9 shooting. Second-year guard Jordan Henry was active as always, leading all scorers with 22 points, and picking off four steals in just 24 minutes.
With the win the Marauders are now 10-6 on the season, currently sitting tied for second in the OUA Central division with the Ryerson Rams.
NEXT UP: The Marauders will head to Toronto to take on the Rams on Wednesday night before heading back to the Burridge Gym to take on the York Lions for their final regular season game at home.
