What's Good

McMaster
  • The Marauders are coming off a pair of clinical sweeps against the Lakehead Thunderwolves, holding them to less than 10 points in all three sets in their opening match.
  • Continuing to lead the league in solo blocks with 52 on the season, the Marauders are third in the OUA in blocks per set with 2.07 blocks.
  • The Marauders reached a season-high in hitting percentage in their last game, connecting on .371% of all attacks for 17.3 points per set.

Ryerson
  • The No. 4 ranked Rams come into this weekend after dropping their second game of the season to the No. 9 Western Mustangs 3-2, but picked back up dropping the Windsor Lancers 3-1.
  • Owning the OUA stats sheet, the Rams rank first in digs per set with 16.13, and third in kills per set with 11.83, and assists per set with 11.04
  • Despite their production on the court, the Rams have also been plagued by misteps, leading the OUA in total errors with 218.

Trent
  • After winning their first game of the season against the Lakehead Thunderwolves 3-2, the Excalibur have gone on to drop their last eight straight games, including a 3-0 loss to the Queen's Gaels last weekend.
  • The Excalibur have struggled to get the ball rolling this season, ranking last in the conference in kills per set with 5.70, as well as blocks per set with 0.82, and points per set with 7.8.
  • The Excalibur were limited to just 66 total attacks in their match against the Gaels, their second lowest total this season.
