Men's Soccer: Marauders Concede After Weather Delay, Settle for Draw in Windsor

McMaster dropped points for the first time in 2018 Saturday

First blood went to the Marauders Saturday, but a lengthy weather delay took the teams from the field, and when they returned, the Windsor Lancers found an equalizer and a point.

McMaster dropped points for the first time in 2018, drawing Windsor 1-1 to move to 3-0-1 on the season and sit level with the York Lions for the top spot in the OUA West standings.

Rookie striker Joseph Guindy provided the only goal of the match for the Marauders, scoring his second of the season in the 60th minute.

Denying McMaster its fourth win of the young season, Windsor found the equalizing goal in the 82nd minute through striker Stefan Milidrag.

NEXT UP: The Marauders return to the friendly confines of Ron Joyce Stadium to take on OUA West co-leaders and long-time rivals, the York Lions, on Friday, September 7 at 8:15 p.m.
