Women's Soccer: Marauders Remain Unbeaten After Goalless Draw with Mustangs

McMaster out-shot Western 5-1 in London but could not find a breakthrough Friday

Following a dream start to their season a week ago, the Marauders kept their unbeaten run alive with a goalless draw in London against the Western Mustangs Friday.

McMaster out-shot Western 5-1, but were unable to solve Mustangs goalkeeper Megan Girardi.

Fresh from the first clean sheet of her career a week ago, Marauders goalkeeper Juliana Hifawi kept another on Friday, saving the lone shot she faced.

McMaster improved to 2-0-1 with the result, retaining its spot atop the OUA West standings in the process.

NEXT UP: The Marauders wrap up their long weekend road trip with a visit to Windsor Saturday, where they take on the Lancers at 1:00 p.m.
