Expanding on the momentum they built on home court a week earlier, the Marauders sped to their third consecutive win of the season Saturday.

McMaster swept the Trent Excalibur 25-11, 25-20 and 25-16 to edge above .500 on the young season, improving to 3-2 in OUA play.

With Marauders setter Rebecca Maxwell spreading the ball, right side Jessie Nairn emerged as the match's leading scorer with eight kills on just 19 attempts versus three errors (.263), while adding three block assists for a total of 9.5 points.

Left side Kailan Robinson followed with six kills, while middle Hailey Kranics had five.

McMaster hit .211 as a team Saturday, while holding Trent to a -.022 average with 21 errors against 19 kills. That helped the Marauders out-earn the Excalibur by 14 points on the night, as McMaster was never threatened in recording their third win of the campaign.

NEXT UP: The Marauders return to Burridge Gym for a two-day homestand on Friday, November 23 and Saturday, November 24, as they play host to the Waterloo Warriors and Guelph Gryphons. Both matches are set for first serve at 6:00 p.m.
