The McMaster men's basketball team saw its season come to an end, falling 89-50 to the top-ranked Carleton Ravens Saturday night in Ottawa.
Playing from behind the entire game, the Marauders trailed 42-26 at halftime and then saw the Ravens go off in the third quarter, outscoring McMaster 27-10 to blow the game open.
The top McMaster shooter was David McCulloch who dropped 16 points. Carleton was led by Connor Wood with 17.
Winning at the Raven's Nest was always going to be a tall task, but the Marauders did themselves no favours by shooting only 28% (15 of 54) from the floor, 12% from beyond the arc (3 of 24), and 58% from the charity stripe (17 0f 29).
The Raven's will now host the OUA final-four next week.
