Home field continued to be advantageous for the McMaster men's rugby team Friday. The Marauders struck early and often, getting tries for four different players, en route to a commanding 37-7 win over the Laurier Golden Hawks at Back 10 Field.

Kenny Boyce, Mike Waldock, Mitch Richardson and Matt Nicol each crossed the try line for the hosts, while the OUA's leading scorer, rookie Will Kelly added 17 points on the strength of four converts and three penalty goals.

Laurier managed a late consolation try through Robert Cini, with Aidan Nesbitt successfully converting.

With the result, McMaster (5-1) retained their hold on second position in the OUA standings, while Laurier (2-4) remained seventh in the 10-team table. Friday's game was Mac's last regular season contest at home.
