Home field advantage continues to be a place of luck for the Marauders this season as MAC men's rugby advances to the OUA semi-final, defeating Trent 15-5.
Mitchell Salisbury and Mike Waldock both crossed the try line for the Marauders while rookie Fly Half, William Kelly added one convert and a penalty kick.
Kelly held steady at the No. 2 spot in the OUA scoring race heading into today's game, having notched 83 points this season.
The Excalibur maintained possession for the majority of the second half, but proved no match for McMaster's defensive system. Trent's Nathan Hawkins was able to pull back a try with less than 10 minutes to go in the game, but MAC continued to shut down Trent's attack.
With this result, the Marauders will head on the road to play  Guelph in the OUA semi-final, next Saturday, November 5
