Box Score The McMaster men's basketball team came up with a big effort on the road and knocked off the previously undefeated Queen's Gaels 84-71 in Kingston on Friday night.
The Gaels held a 23-20 lead after one quarter, but the Marauders assumed control and outscored their opponents by 20 points over the next two quarters to take a 17 point lead into the final stanza.
The Gaels tried to make a fourth quarter push, but McMaster was able to maintain its double-digit advantage and close out the win.
Aaron Redpath knocked down five treys for the game and led the way with 20 points. Other Marauders in double-figures were Leon Alexander with 16, Lazar Kojovic with 15, Troy Joseph with 13 and Rohan Boney with 10.  Queen's got a game-high 21 from Tanner Graham.
The Marauder will next play at York on Saturday night with an 8 p.m. tip-off and the game is available online at OUA.tv.
