Building off the momentum of Marauder Weekend, the McMaster men’s and women’s basketball teams are counting on the campus and the community to RISE ABOVE CAPACITY when they face the Guelph Gryphons on Wednesday, February 6^th.

By identifying with the RISE ABOVE campaign currently being promoted by Nike, McMaster Athletics is hoping that Marauder fans will cram into the Burridge Gym for the double-header versus Guelph and challenge some of the attendance standards of the recent past. Games times are 6 and 8 p.m.

As Canada’s only Jordan Brand affiliated athletic department, it only made sense to take last year’s PACK THIS HOUSE promotion and combine it with the Nike messaging of striving to RISE ABOVE and meet whatever your challenge may be. For the Maroon faithful, the challenge is to get as many people into the Burridge Gym as it can hold and cheer the Mac basketball teams on to victory.

The first 500 fans wearing maroon into the Burridge Gym will receive a voucher for a free WILLY DOG, from the WILLY DOG on-campus location, while everyone else in attendance can take their ticket stub and receive one-dollar off their next WILLY DOG purchase. The double-header will have additional promotions and prizes all night long.

With OUA playoffs right around the corner, the time is now to start building some Maroon momentum and getting behind the basketball teams. This is the moment to pull on some Maroon and let your inner Marauder go wild!
