NINE MARAUDERS SCORE TRIES AS MEN'S RUGBY ROUTS WATERLOO 57-0

McMaster struck early and often on Saturday, en route to a comfortable win to close out the conference season. Nine different Marauders had tries, and James Leveridge had a team-high 13 points, as the Marauder men's rugby team defeated the Waterloo Warriors 57-0.

The result guaranteed McMaster (4-3) the fourth seed in the OUA, setting up a home quarterfinal against the Brock Badgers on Wednesday, October 23.

Chris Woodhead opened the scoring in the 12th minute, when he scored the first try of the afternoon. Leveridge followed suit in the 22nd minute, with Andrew Ferguson successfully hitting the convert to extend McMaster's lead to 12-0.

Trevor Anderson and Cam Stones added tries six minutes apart, with Ferguson notching his second convert of the day to bring the Marauders' point total to 24 mere minutes before the halftime interval.

Graham Dobbs continued the onslaught with a try in the 58th minute, and Kieran Hurst added another five minutes later that Leveridge successfully converted. The second-year centre trotted out for yet another convert just three minutes later, after Davor Stojanov contributed a try of his own.

Chris Gordon and Ethan Sanders piled on tries in the 73rd and 77th minutes to complete the scoring on the afternoon, with Leveridge converting each.
