Box Score Ottawa, Ont. - The McMaster men's basketball team took on the No. 2 Carleton Ravens on Saturday night.
After the first quarter, McMaster would have the lead over the talented Ravens by a score of 21-20. It would be the second that would make the difference before half as Carleton would double the points that McMaster would score. The Marauders would head into half time down 42-33.
In the third, the Marauders would fight hard to get back in the game, but Carleton would keep pushing their lead. Despite outscoring the Ravens in the fourth quarter 28-23, Carleton would win it 100-88.
Tyson Hinz was the game-high scorer with 25 points and he would add nine rebounds and five assists. Phil Scrubb would be right behind him with 24 points, Clinton Springer-Williams and Kewyn Blain would score 14 each and rounding it would would be Thomas Scrubb with another 13 and six rebounds.
For McMaster, centre Taylor Black was the team-high scorer with 23 points. Second-year Joe Rocca was right behind him with 21 points and rookie Rohan Boney added another 13. Second-year Adam Presutti would score another 10 for McMaster.
The Marauders will host the Queen's Gaels on Saturday night at 8pm.
