Erie, PA - The McMaster Marauders men's basketball team finished off their pre-season games with a win over the Penn State Behrend on Saturday afternoon. Forward Nathan McCarthy (Burlington, Ont.) had a game-high 14 points in the win.

McMaster was up 41-30 at the half and never allowed the Lions back in as they scored another 35 in the second half compared to Penn State Behrend's 24 for a final score of 76-54.

McCarthy's 14 points helped earn the win along with Cam Michaud's (Grimsby, Ont.) 10 and nine more came from Taylor Black (Stoney Creek, Ont.) and Nathan Pelech (Mississauga, Ont.). Rookie Adam Presutti (Oakville, Ont.) had six assists.

Lion Russ Conley (Transfer, PA)  had 13 for Penn State Behrend along with six rebounds. Shane Skelly (Westlake, O also earned double digit numbers with 11 points. 

The Marauders home opener will be on Friday, November 11 against the No. 1 Carleton Ravens to kick off the OUA regular season.
