Kingston, Ont. - Six Marauders reached double digit points in their 98-51 win over the RMC Paladins on Saturday night. The Marauders now improve to a 7-1 record with one weekend left to go before the Christmas break.
The Marauder put their foot on the pedal and never stopped, scoring 22 points in the first and 30 in the second. At halftime, McMaster lead 52-20, allowing the Paladins to score just ten points in the opening two quarters. In the third the Marauders wouldn't let up, scoring 23 more and the final score would eventually be 98-51.
Rookie Joe Rocca (Sarnia, Ont.) scored a team-high 21 points. Cam Michaud (Grimsby, Ont.) and rookie Nathan McCarthy (Burlington, Ont.) would add 13 each, Taylor Black (Stoney Creek, Ont.) would score 12, rookie Aaron Redpath (Ajax, Ont.) scored another 11 and rookie point guard Adam Presutti (Oakville, Ont.) added another ten for the Marauders.
RMC's Connor Duke (Dartmouth, N.S.) would sink a game-high 25 points. James Byun (Toronto) added 15 for the Paladins and Liam Wright (Fenwick, Ont.) grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds for RMC.
The Marauders host the Toronto Varsity Blues and the Ryerson Rams next weekend to close out the first half of the OUA regular season schedule.
