MARAUDERS PUMMEL VOYAGUERS WITH 99-70 WIN

Sudbury, Ont. - The McMaster men's basketball team extended their win streak to three games with a win over the Laurentian Voyageurs on the road on Saturday night. In the 99-70 win, co-captain Cam Michaud scored 28 points.

In the first quarter, the Marauders scored 24 points and only allowed the Voyageurs to score 14 of their own. With the lead heading into the second, McMaster let up a bit, scoring just 12 points to Laurentian's 17 but maintained the lead with a score of 36-31. In the third, McMaster began to run away with it scoring another 27 points and in the fourth recorded an astounding 36 more points to solidify the third win of the season.

Game high scorer Michaud was accompanied by four more Marauders reaching double-digits on the night. Rookie Aaron Redpath scored 15, rookie Joe Rocca scored another 12 and Victor Raso and Taylor Black recorded another ten points each for the Marauders.

Voyageur Alex Ratte scored 17 and Isiah Pasquale was the only other player on the opposing team to hit double-digits with 15.

The Marauders travel to Kingston next weekend to take on the RMC Paladins and the Queen's Gaels in hopes of pursuiting two more wins on the season.
