Toronto - The McMaster men's rugby team was on the road when they defeated the Toronto Varsity Blues today by a score of 76-5. 

A number of Marauders contributed to the win. Andrew Ferguson (Mississauga, Ont.) had 19 points today thanks to a try and seven converts. Chad Strapp (Dundas, Ont.) added another two converts to the winning effort.

Tyler Ardron (Lakefield, Ont.) scored two tries for the Marauders today. The following McMaster rugby players also scored a try each: Mackenzie Chown (Barrie, Ont.), Taylor Wilenski (Pickering, Ont.), Davor Stojanov (Stoney Creek, Ont.), Chris Gordon (Pickering, Ont.), Trevor Anderson (Toronto), Justin Deschamp (Barrie, Ont.), Grant Schneider (Oakville, Ont.), Craig Leveridge (Oakville, Ont.) and Ryan Fried (New Hamburg, Ont.).

Next up for the Marauders is a match up with the Western Mustangs on the road on October 15.
