Hamilton, Ont. - The McMaster men's basketball team took down the visiting Dalhousie Tigers by five on Saturday night at Burridge Gymnasium.
The game remained close for the majority of the time, with the Tigers leading by two after the first quarter at 15-13. Both teams would score 23 in the second for Dalhousie to maintain their minimal lead going into the second half.
The Marauders would eventually earn the win in preparation for their regular season coming up in November by a score of 75-70
Rookir Joe Rocca (Sarnia, Ont.) was the leading scorer for the Marauders with 22 points. Captain Cam Michaud (Grimsby, Ont.) and rookie Aaron Redpath (Ajax, Ont.) had 10 points each and captain Victor Raso (Hamilton, Ont.) had nine rebounds in the win.
The Marauders travel to the Pennslyvania to play against Allegheny College and Penn State next weekend.
