Guiding her team to a repeat tournament title at the highly-competitive Darcel Wright Memorial Classic at Ryerson, Danielle Boiago was named as the Player of the Tournament on October 23.

The senior guard posted 19 points and three steals in the tournament’s opening game, as McMaster defeated Cape Breton 70-66, finishing the night as the game’s leading scorer.

Boiago turned creator on October 22, collecting a double-double with 12 points and 11 assists as the Marauders advanced to the tournament final with a commanding 95-78 win over their familiar OUA foes, the Windsor Lancers.

In a low-scoring final against the host Rams, Boiago was her game’s leading scorer for a second time, racking up 18 points and shooting 40 per cent on 4-10 from three-point range, while adding three steals.
