The fourth-year outside was the most dangerous Marauder on court in both of his apperances over the course of McMaster’s three-match series against the defending national champion Alberta Golden Bears this past week. Maar posted matching, team-leading totals of 15 kills on Thursday and Saturday respectively, hitting for an average of .417 in the team’s series-opening sweep.

He followed with a total of 18.5 points while hitting .355 and adding 3.5 blocks as McMaster battled Alberta to five sets in a strength-on-strength match on Saturday.
