It was a career weekend for the third-year forward, as the Marauder women's basketball team opened its OUA season with a pair of wins in Ottawa. Kenney set a new career high with 17 points in McMaster's 69-65 victory over the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Friday, making all six of her attempts from the field while adding five rebounds. She improved on that mark the very next night, scoring 19 points to lead the game as McMaster improved to 2-0 with a 65-54 win over the Carleton Ravens. Kenney led the Marauders on the boards yet again on Saturday, collecting eight rebounds.
