The second-year winger had a strong showing at the CIS Championship in Guelph, where she was twice named as McMaster's Player of the Game and ultimately appeared as a tournament all-star. Whiteley-Hoffelner scored two tries over the course of the three-game event, touching down in both McMaster's win over 17-12 win over the Ottawa Gee-Gees and their 43-34 loss to the St. FX X-Women in the national final. However, even when she wasn't scoring, Whiteley-Hoffelner's speed was a constant menace to opposing teams, and sprung several teammates on scoring runs of their own.
