Sitting at the controls of McMaster’s high-powered offence, second-year setter David Doty displayed his judgement and technique in equal measure en route to 63 combined assists and a pair of comfortable wins this past weekend.

The London, Ont. product had 28 assists Friday while the Marauders hit a blistering 43 per cent as a group in sweeping the Guelph Gryphons, and Doty was steady behind the block in adding six digs.

He followed with an even more prolific night in Saturday’s sweep of the Warriors in Waterloo, with 35 assists and a team-wide 37 per cent hitting, while leading McMaster with eight digs.
