The veteran D'Angelo competed well at her final CIS meet as a Marauder this past weekend, finishing fourth in the women's 55kg weight class at the CIS Championships hosted by the University of New Brunswick. It was the best finish for a McMaster woman at the event, as the Marauders finished 10th as a team. D'Angelo's performance on the national stage was particularly impressive given her return from injury just months earlier, having missed the first half of McMaster's competitive schedule. She advanced to the bronze medal match in her division, before being bested by Calgary's Cara Nania to narrowly miss the podium.
