Sorensen was an integral part of the Marauders' latest successes this past weekend. The rookie middle led McMaster with 14 points on Friday, as the Marauders battled back to defeat the Waterloo Warriors in five sets. She converted 11 of 17 hitting attempts versus just one error (58.8 per cent) and added three blocks in the win. Sunday saw another strong performance from Sorensen, who scored 12.5 points including seven kills, four and a half blocks and an ace as McMaster returned home to beat the division-leading Guelph Gryphons 3-1. The Marauders have now won five consecutive matches, and sit four points back of Guelph in the OUA West standings with two matches in hand.
