A second-year running back from Etobicoke, Wayne Moore was a force in the McMaster running game as he powered for 140 yards on 22 carries in McMaster’s 41-7 quarter-final win over the Ottawa Gee-Gees. A graduate of Richview high school, Moore set the tone early for the Marauder offense as he carried the ball 6 times for 50 yards on the opening drive of the game, helping his team march down the field and score a major to take an early 7-0 lead. His longest run of the game was a third quarter scamper for 24 yards as McMaster was going against the wind, allowing McMaster to control the ball and move to the Ottawa 26-yard line where Tyler Crapigna kicked a field goal to extend the lead to 27-7.
