Fifty years after starting his BPE program at McMaster, John returned as an assistant coach to his son, Joe,with the Women's Soccer team in 2017. He is the president of Hamilton Sparta SC, our community partner, where he has coached for over 30 years, including two Ontario Cup championships. He has been recognized with an OSA Meritorious Service Award, an OFSAA Leadership in Sport Award, and was inducted into The Hamilton Soccer Hall of Fame in 2016.He is a retired high school principal and is currently the vice-chair of the HWCDSB.
