Wrapping up his first season as the program's head coach in the fall of 2018, Doucette led the Marauders women's rugby team to a repeat performance as OUA bronze medalists after a 2-2 record in the regular season.

A four-year student-athlete with the McMaster men's rugby team between 2007-10, Doucette graduated from McMaster with his Bachelors of Commerce degree in 2011, and assumed an assistant coaching role with the Marauders women's program that fall under the leadership of Cam Mitchell.

In seven seasons as McMaster's backs coach, Doucette helped McMaster to two OUA Championships (2014, 2015) and the program's first CIS Championship (2015), as well as consecutive University Rugby Sevens Championship titles (2015, 2016).

Season By Season:

2018: The Marauders finished 2-2 in conference play and entered the playoffs as the third seed in the OUA's Shiels Division ... McMaster defeated Laurier 109-0 in a conference quarterfinal at Ron Joyce Stadium before being narrowly eliminated from title contention in a 29-24 loss to Queen's in Kingston ... The Marauders rebounded to beat the Brock Badgers 59-5 in the bronze medal match at Ron Joyce Stadium ... Britni French, Sara Svoboda and Monique Sluys were named as Shiels Division All-Stars while Mackenzie Wiens received the Shiels Division Community Service Award ... French repeated as a Second Team All-Canadian ... Sara Svoboda received the Dr. Mary Keyes Award as McMaster's top female scholar-athlete ... Svoboda was a finalist for the Therese Quigley Award as McMaster's female athlete of the year.
