Ed Grosel enters his 17th year on the Marauder staff and continues to expand his contributions. A fully certified NCCP level-3 coach, Grosel has long been involved with coaching youth basketball in the Hamilton area, both in the high school ranks at Cardinal Newman and with various Blessed Sacrament Club teams. He was also a founding executive member of the Newman Youth basketball club in Stoney Creek.  Grosel has taken on the lead recruiting role for the Marauders, and has been instrumental in attracting some of the outstanding talent on the current team. Away from the court, Grosel has spent the last 44 years as a member of the Mechanical Group Team at Arcelor-Mittal Dofasco which he recently retired from. Over his time coaching at the club level, his Blessed Sacrament teams have won numerous provincial medals in various age groups.
