Todd Galloway

  • Title
Offensive Quality Control and Recruiting Coordinator
Galloway joined the McMaster coaching staff as the Marauders recruiting coordinator and offensive assistant on January 31, 2019, following an eight-year tenure with the Guelph Gryphons.

Beginning his time in Guelph as the Gryphons offensive coordinator in 2011, Galloway enjoyed a 33-15 regular season record and helped the program reach the Yates Cup on three separate occasions, including the fourth championship in its history in 2015.

He was elevated to the position of recruiting coordinator in 2016, before assuming head coaching duties on an interim basis in 2018. In that capacity, Galloway guided the Gryphons to a 5-3 regular season and a spot in the Yates Cup.

Attending Wilfrid Laurier as an undergraduate, he played football under the leadership of McMaster head coach Stefan Ptaszek, then the Golden Hawks offensive coordinator, in his senior season in 2003. The next year, Galloway joined the staff as an offensive assistant and worked alongside Ptaszek, helping Laurier to a Vanier Cup title in 2005.

Other coaching stops for the Kitchener, Ontario native include five years spent in Nova Scotia with the St. Mary's Huskies, Sackville High School and Nova Scotia Varsity Football League's Metro Mustangs.
