Now in his fourth season as the Special Teams Coordinator for the Marauders, Underhill brings tremendous experience to the McMaster staff.

A former player for the Marauders Underhill has coached at all levels, including both the OPFL, OVFL and the OFC, having spent 12 years on staff with the Hamilton Ironmen and serving as Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator of the Hamilton Hurricanes in 2014.

In addition to his Special Teams duties with the Marauders, Coach Underhill will continue to work with the Marauder defensive backs.

Underhill spent the 2013 season on staff at the University of Toronto, where he was defensive backs coach, but returned to Hamilton in 2014 and helped McMaster in its drive to the Vanier Cup. Before making the move to Toronto, he had previously spent three seasons as a defensive assistant with the Marauders. 

He is currently the Head Coach of Team Ontario’s U18 tem and NCCP certified coaching instructor. Coach Underhill has working with Team Ontario for half a decade, supporting the program at Canada Cup tournaments.
