The McMaster Local Business Program is back by popular  demand for its third year. This initiative was created in 2011 to  incease the prominence of local  business in the McMaster community. The program allows local businesses an opportunity to market to the almost 30,000 students and staff right on campus.
In the past, local businesses have expressed interest in working with McMaster to attracting new and retaining current customers. The Local Business Program does just that, and offers great exposure to the McMaster community!   

Along with new outreach programs, McMaster is committed to being a good neighbour to the surrounding community.

THE PROGRAM:

Participation in Opening Day Football and Homecoming Football Marketplace
• 10’x10’ space in the entranceway of the football stadium on Saturday September 7th, 2013 and Saturday October 5th, 2012
• 5000+ first year undergraduate students will have the chance to experience McMaster Football and its marketplace for the first time

Priority Business to Members
• Preferred Customer of McMaster Athletics and Recreation

Logo on our website under Local Business Program
• Website attracts about 5 million views per year

Single slide advertisement on our internal television network
• Approximately one million people walk through our facility yearly
• Newly created student lounge surrounded by TV’s

Spotlight ad at a football, volleyball, or basketball game
• Ex. “The McMaster Athletics and Recreation Local Business Program invites you to explore the Snooty Fox. Located on King St in Westdale, it’s the perfect place to relax. For more information on the Local Business Program visit marauders.ca!”
