Led jointly by the Department of Kinesiology and McMaster Performance, the McMaster Performance & Wellness Workshop is a collaborative event aimed at uniting professionals across various disciplines focused on performance and wellness. Welcoming members from both the McMaster and Greater Hamilton communities, the workshop caters to individuals interested in rehabilitation, sport performance, fitness, coaching, biomechanics, nutrition, and wellness.Â

Building upon the success of the previous events, this year's workshop promises an array of enriching experiences where participants can expect a blend of hands-on workshops, classroom-style sessions, engaging talks from esteemed speakers representing both academia and industry, and ample networking opportunities with leaders in their respective fields.
The objectives are to:Â
- Bring people together across disciplines—from coaches and trainers to researchers and athletes—to share ideas and build meaningful connections in the performance and wellness space.
- Provide practical learning opportunities through hands-on sessions, expert talks, and real-world insights that participants can apply in their own work or training.
- Showcase the work and expertise of professionals and researchers who are advancing performance, recovery, and well-being in sport, health, and fitness.
