TORONTO, Ont. — On Wednesday, the McMaster Marauders (11-7) faced the York Lions (6-12) for a second time this season.

McMaster got off to an early 21-9 lead after the first quarter thanks to some sharp shooting from Emily Frankovic (Thornhill, Ont.), Sophia Urosevic (Kitchener, Ont.) and Cassandra Joli-Coeur (Johnstown, Ont.). Half way through the second quarter, Grace Ammendolia (Hamilton, Ont.) hit a three to extend the Marauder lead to 20. Amy Stinson (Hamilton, Ont.) would bring the first half to a close with a three and help the Marauders end the first half up by 30. Frankovic would get the Marauder offense rolling again early in the second half, hitting a couple of jumpers. Urosevic would also continue the offensive pressure for McMaster sinking a three and a jumper mid way through the third. Frankovic would hit a three early in the fourth to help ease the Marauders past the Lions, and win the game 82-56. Urosevic would finish the night with 20 points adding great depth to the Marauder roster.
