TORONTO, Ont. — On Saturday, the McMaster Marauders (3-12) faced the Toronto Varsity Blues (5-10) in the first of two meetings this season.Â
McMaster would come up short, falling 92-68 to the Varsity Blues.
The Varsity Blues got off to a fast start but AY Osunde (Scarborough, Ont.) would kick start the Marauder offense with a few made layups and a three to end the first quarter. Osunde would continue to rally the offense in the second quarter, hitting an early three. Mike Demagus (Scarborough, Ont.) took over control of the offense later in the second, hitting multiple layups and a three to close the gap. The Marauders would find themselves down 14 at half.
Tyler Garcia (Mississauga, Ont.) found some space in the third quarter to knock down a three and despite some late threes from Daniel Graham (Hamilton, Ont.) and Garcia, McMaster would fall 92-68 to the Varsity Blues.Â
