AY Osunde (Scarborough, Ont.) scored the final two free throws of the game for the Marauders with 10 seconds remaining in overtime to give the McMaster Marauders a tight 90-86 victory over the visiting Toronto Varsity Blues in the 2022-23 regular season finale in Burridge Gymnasium.
Mike Demagus (Scarborough, Ont.) was the leading scorer for McMaster, totaling 29 points on the night.
Sefa Otchere (Niagara Falls, Ont.), Osunde and
Khalil Miller (Scarborough, Ont.) were the Marauders' other top scorers and combined for 41 points. Miller added 14 rebounds to his 10 points to record the only double-double of the game.
The game went back and forth but McMaster held narrow leads at each of the quarter breaks until the final frame.
In overtime, the Marauders came out firing, shooting 60% from the field and scoring both the first and last baskets of the period to go up for good.

With the win, the Marauders end the regular season as the #10 seed and will start their OUA playoff run on the road on Wednesday night. Schedule details will be released later today including opponent and game time.
