HAMILTON, Ont. –  Coming off of a two game win streak, McMaster will look to continue the momentum this upcoming weekend. The Marauders will take on the 4-7 Laurentian Voyageurs this Friday and then will face the 3-8 Nipissing Lakers on Saturday. Game time is set for 6:00 PM both Friday and Saturday in Burridge Gym.

The Marauders last faced the Laurentian Voyageurs in 2019. McMaster ended up victorious having beat the Voyageurs 70-57. The 12^th ranked Voyageurs took on the Algoma Thunderbirds this past Sunday, winning the game 60-44.

The Marauders took on the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks this past Friday. The Marauder women dropped Ontario Tech 91-48. McMaster took the lead early on ending the first quarter 19-9. The Marauders continued to dominate all game, with Jenna Button (Dundas, Ont.) and Cassie Joli-Coeur (Johnstown, Ont.) scoring 16 points each, and Sarah Gates (Newmarket, Ont.) finding the bucket to put up 13 points.

McMaster and Nipissing are familiar foes, having battled six times since 2015. The Marauders remain undefeated against the Lakers, winning all six of the last match-ups. Most recently, the Marauders and Lakers competed in 2019 with McMaster winning 74-48. The 14^th ranked Nipissing Voyageurs are coming off of a 56-45 win after facing the Algoma Thunderbirds this past Friday.

McMaster is currently 7-4 and ranked seventh in the OUA. The Marauders are looking to continue the win streak this week.
