The McMaster Marauders women's soccer team fell to the Rams 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at Ron Joyce Stadium.

As the last regular season home game for the Marauders, it was seniors day and graduating player Jayashree Pathak made 11 fierce saves on net.

In a high intensity match the Marauders kept composure on the field however the squad was unable to land the ball in the back of the net It took 79 minutes to break the deadline, when Skylar Sheehan-Alleyene found the back of the net to put the Rams up and take the match.

The squad wraps up the season with a 5-3-2 record, while the Rams pick up three points to tie the Marauders. With both squads on equal records, the tiebreaker is ultimately decided by head-to-head which sends the Rams on to the playoffs.

Head Coach Miranda Wiley ends her first season on the field with a winning record, and a fourth place finish in the OUA Central division.
