The McMaster Marauders women's basketball team kept their winning streak going on Wednesday night, taking down the Laurier Golden Hawks on the road 75-53 for their fifth straight win.

The Marauders led all but the first minute of this game, pushing their lead as far as 25 points as the fourth quarter winded down. The Marauders held the Golden Hawks to subpar shooting numbers, with the home team connecting on 29.9% of all field goal attempts, only hitting 5-of-22 from deep.

Playing in only 22 minutes of action, Christina Buttenham gave an impressive nine points, 10 rebounds, five steals, and two blocks stat line.

Mia Spadafora was lethal off the bench as she has been all season. The third-year guard conntecting on 3-5 from three-point territory, while grabbing five boards.

Rounding out the Marauders top performers were Jenna Button and Sarah Gates. Button led the team in minutes and controlled the pace with 11 points to her name, while gates shot an efficient 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the floor.
