Box Score 2 The McMaster Marauders men's basketball team dropped a pair of games this weekend, falling to the No. 1 nationally ranked Carleton Ravens 108-54 on Friday, and the No. 5 ranked Ottawa Gee-gees 98-82.

Opening the Saturday night's matchup against the Gee-gees on a 12-3 run, the Marauders came out firing on all cylinders behind a
Connor Gilmore three-pointer, and quick buckets from
Kwasi Adu-Poku and
Tristan Lindo.

The pair of Adu-Poku and Lindo went on to score nine points apiece.

The Ravens went on a run of their own after the Marauders went up 15-6, their largest lead of the game, ending the first in favour of the home team, 24-23.

The visiting Marauders struggled to match pace with the Ravens from then on, heading into halftime down nine points, and eventually dropping the game.

Despite the margin of victory, the Marauders shot well all game, hitting 25-61 form the floor (41.0%), 8-20 from three-point territory (40.0%), and made 24-28 free-throws (85.7%).

Jordan Henry led the Marauders, as he's done for most of the season, scoring 22 points to go with five rebounds and four steals.

Maleik Gordon was a spark off the bench, scoring 10 of his 12 total points in the second half.

On Friday night, the Marauders fell to the nation's top ranked team, after being held to just six points in the third quarter alone.

It was a tough shooting night for the Marauders, who only found success at the free-throw line, going 14-for-15.

The maroon struggled in the battle for rebounds, picking up 27 boards compared to the Ravens 50. Forcing 21 turnovers, the Ravens outscored the visitors 32-11 off crucial mistakes.
