The McMaster Marauders women's basketball team returns to the Burridge Gym on Wednesday night for their first round of action in the new year against the No. 5 nationally ranked Ryerson Rams.

The Marauders and Rams met once last season with the latter team coming away with a narrow 89-80 win, giving the Marauders their first loss of the year after a 5-0 start.
Sarah Gates dropped 24 points and picked up four boards in the contest, while
Olivia Wilson added 14 points shooting a perfect 6-6 from the free-throw line.
