Wasting no time on a Sunday afternoon, the No. 3 nationally ranked McMaster Marauders men's volleyball team defeated the Brock Badgers in straight sets at the Bob Davis Gym in St. Catharines, Ont.

Nathan Delguidice led the way for the visiting Marauders, hitting an impressive .318 for 13 kills on 22 total attacks. David Doty dished out 32 assists to go with two service aces, while Craig Ireland and Matt Passalent each had eight kills apiece.

The Badgers struggled to gain momentum throughout the match, committing 21 errors on a season-low 0.14 hitting percentage.

With the win, the No. 3 ranked Marauders continue to retain sole possession of first in the OUA West standings, currently riding a nine game win streak. During that span, they have only dropped two sets, and have swept their opponents seven times.

NEXT UP: The two teams will meet again in less than a weeks' time, as the Brock Badgers make the trip to the Burridge Gym for a rematch on Friday. Game time is scheduled for 8pm.
