The Marauders swept their season series against the Lancers last season, taking their first victory at home by a convincing 95-67 score, and followed that it up with an 84-80 battle at the St. Denis Centre two months later.

Connor Gilmore averaged 22.0 points in the series leading all scorers across both games. After being contained to just six points on 2-of-8 shooting in the first leg,
Jordan Henry bounced back in a big way dropping 25 points, knocking down 10-of-15 from field goal range.
