Men's Soccer: Green Scores Four, Marauders Blank Thunderbirds 6-0 to End Regular Season

McMaster finishes third in the OUA West and will host a playoff game Wednesday

The late drama of Saturday's win in Sault Ste. Marie was nowhere to be found Sunday, as the Marauders scored at will en route to a 6-0 rout of the Thunderbirds to complete the OUA's regular season.

Miles Green scored four goals in the second half to blow the game wide open, while Christian Cossidente and Connor Russell also found the back of the net in the win.

With the result, McMaster completed the OUA season with a 9-3-4 record, clinching the third seed in the OUA West division.

The Marauders will host the sixth-seeded Waterloo Warriors in a first round playoff encounter at Ron Joyce Stadium on Wednesday, October 24. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. and will follow the preceding women's playoff.
