TOP-TEN TUESDAY: RUGBY MARAUDERS OPEN AT NUMBER ONE

The McMaster women's rugby team took top spot in the initial CIS national rankings released on September 13th.  The defending national champion Marauders opened the 2016 season with an 81-0 win over Toronto.  The first top-ten of the season was dominated by Ontario schools as McMaster was followed by Guelph, Ottawa, and Queen's to make up the top four positions.

The Marauders travel to York on Friday, September 16 to clash with the Lions.

After suffering its first loss of the season in Ottawa, the McMaster football team slipped in the weekly top-ten and fell four spots from No. 5 to No. 9.  The Marauders will look to get back on the winning track this week when the team travels to Waterloo to face the Warriors on Saturday, September 17.
