Box Score The McMaster women's basketball team came off a loss at Queen's on Friday and took it out on the York Lions in an 86-45 win in Toronto on Saturday night.

The Marauders started the game like York had stolen their favourite toy and dominated the Lions by a score of 32-2 in the opening quarter.  McMaster's blazing start to the game pretty well decided the outcome as York is a young team, breaking in a new coach, and not likely to rally from a 30-point deficit.

The Marauders were able to spread out the playing time after getting the big lead and  11 of 12 players hit the scoresheet.   Danielle Boiago had a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Clare Kenney scored 10 to finish as the only Marauders in double-digits.

McMaster dominated the rebounding stats by grabbing 44 boards to 29 for York

The Marauders will next be at home to face the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday, November 28th in a key OUA division match-up.
