Victoria Coates finished the 3000m event in a time of 9:57.35 to earn bronze at the 2012 Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Championship at York University on Friday.

The women's 4x800 relay team comprised of Chelsea Mackinnon, Jill Wyman, Lindsay Carson, and Katie Anderson combined to also earn bronze finishing third in a time of 9:03.90.

Graham Bowes finished fifth in the 3000m in a time of 8:23.39. for the McMaster men.

Day two of the 2012 OUA Championship gets underway at 10:30 am on Saturday morning.
