Box Score Thunder Bay, Ont. - The McMaster women's volleyball team traveled up north this weekend to take on the Lakehead Thunderwolves in a double header on Friday and Saturday night.

In their first match up of the weekend, the Marauders came out on top, beating the home team in four. Set scores in favour of McMaster were 25-23, 20-25, 25-20, 25-20.

For the Marauders, Kailee Stock had a team-high 9 kills and Shannon McRobert followed that up with another 6. Mira Krunic recorded a team-high 15 digs.

Lakehead's Jorie Daymond had a game-high 16 kills, along with 13 digs. Setter Sara Hudson recorded 39 assists and libero Breanne Hilhorst had a game-high 18 digs.

This marks the McMaster women's volleyball team's first win of the 2012-13 season, and they will look to continue the win streak tomorrow night in a rematch with the Thunderwolves at 7pm.
